what we do
We provide free comprehensive medical, psychological and follow up therapy/treatment to children and their non-offending family members/care givers who have been sexually, physically and emotionally abused at our child-friendly, one-stop Kidz Clinics, as well as:

  • Prepare abused children for court procedure to prevent secondary trauma to the child

  • Provide learner empowerment through in-school abuse prevention education programme, entitled Taming your Tokoloshe

  • Run a Youth Development Programme for the counselling of juvenile sex offenders

  • Run life skills workshops for teenagers, called Young Champions

  • Monitor court cases involving the violation of children

  • Highlight the often-inappropriate sentences handed down to perpetrators of child abuse, through protests and media exposure

  • Lobby Government departments to uphold the rights of the child, and advocate increased child protection legislation
