CLINIC MANAGER & VICTIM SUPPORT CO-ORDINATOR
Elizabeth Mokoena manages the Alexandra Kidz Clinic. She has been with the organisation for 13 years. Her experience with women and children in abuse spans over 21 years in various contexts.
Elizabeth worked closed with Director Miranda Friedman to establish the opening of the Alexandra Kidz Clinic. She is very involved in the community and heads the victim support in Alexandra. She worked with Spar in 2007 to launch the Victim Support Centre at the Alexandra police station. The Alexandra Victim Support Centre is a pivotal highlight for the need of such services in communities around South Africa.
One of the highlights of Elizabeth’s management of the Kidz Clinic is her solidification of a partnership between Medico clinic and Kidz Clinic Alexandra in 2013, where the Medico team is now present 24 hours a day.
