I am a registered qualified Social Worker and I am currently employed by Women and Men Against Child Abuse since July 2017. I hold a qualification in Social Work at an Honours level with Cum Laude obtained from the University of South Africa in 2016. In the organisation, my role is to do assessments and play therapy with children. I take pride in assisting clients who are vulnerable to abuse.
Growing up I was always in a space where I was exposed to the importance of giving, helping and extending my resources. My past experiences and my natural inclination to help motivated me to go into the social work field in order to understand the dynamics that families go through which are aggravated by circumstances beyond their control, such as the economy and culture. I enjoy baking and cooking in my free time as well as a lot of extensive reading.
